Goal of the project
As part of this project BeCode wanted to bring its web development training to Limburg.
BeCode is a non-profit organisation that offers free educational programs to anyone who is motivated and eager to learn new skills to work in a forward-looking sector: ICT.
The project is supported by the European Social Fund.
Project details
BeCode and ESF-Vlaanderen have run 4 web-development classes in the state-of-the-art T2 Campus, training more than 80 unemployed Limburgers to the digital skills of today and tomorrow.
Along with front- & back-end development skills, the programme had a special focus on soft skills, in order to help the jobseekers develop the best approach to working and learning in a tech environment.
Target audience
The project aimed at training unemployed Limburgers in skills that will grant them a stable professional situation, working in a forward-looking sector: ICT.
The target audience of the project mainly consists of people who are remote from employment due to a lack of degrees or diplomas (school drop-outs), a lack of professional experience, a lack of soft and tech skills or a long-term unemployment period.
