Project objectives

Encourage the acquisition of AI and Cybersecurity skills by the European labour force by piloting and deploying training programmes focused on advanced digital skills in AI and Cybersecurity and specifically targeting SME staff as well as job seekers, in order to foster EU’s digital talents pools

Impact : Support the digital transformation of European SMEs in a sustainable manner.

Project

Simplon.co, Becode, Factoria F5 and their partners have set up the Tech Time 2 Skill project, which aims to support the digital transformation of European SMEs in a sustainable way. The project is co-financed by the European Commission’s European Health and Digital Executive Agency (HaDEA).

 The Tech Time 2 Skill project is being launched by a consortium of 3 training organizations: Simplon.co in France, Becode in Belgium and Factoria F5 in Spain, and by partner companies and trade associations (PIMEC, Agoria, Agence du Numérique as part of Digital Wallonia, Microsoft).

The project aims to deliver 6 types of training :

 

  • 1-day awareness training for SME leaders to the fundamentals of AI and imagine an action plan for their company (9 training sessions – dates will be added soon)
  • 1-day awareness training for SME leaders to the fundamentals of Cybersecurity and imagine an action plan for their company (9 training sessions – dates will be added soon) 
  • 5-day intensive upskilling trainings for SME employees to prototype AI solutions for their business (6 training sessions – dates will be added soon)
  • 5-day intensive upskilling trainings for SME employees to act as cybersecurity “ambassadors” for their companies (6 training sessions – dates will be added soon)
  • 3 to 6 months intensive bootcamps for job seekers to an AI-related profession  (1 training session – date will be added soon)
  • 3 to 6 months intensive bootcamps for job seekers to Cybersecurity related profession(1 training session – date will be added soon)
