Since 2017, BeCode has been offering inclusive coding bootcamps to jobseekers to start their career in the ICT sector as a web developer, AI data operator, DevSecOps developer or SAP consultant. Responsibilities and Duties

As a Head of Business development, your role will be varied:
  • Together with our CEO, work on developing our revenue model
  • Take the lead in identifying and developing possible opportunities meeting the market needs. 
  • Search, prospect companies to sell BeCode’s B2B services (upskilling/ reskilling/ internships/talent placement) and look for partnership opportunities.
  • Promote BeCode’s services and pool of talents to current and potential partners
  • Negotiate to close contracts with clients and partners.
  • Give feedback and align on the national strategy with the CEO
  • Maintain client records & contracts up to date in the company CRM and pipeline
  • Participate in the design of SLA’s and customers processes
  • Represent BeCode in various events and networking opportunities
  • Lead and manage the Business development Team 
  • Actively participate in Board meetings as a key member of the leadership team

In order to be successful in this role, you have a deep understanding and proven experience in contract negotiation & sales processes as well as partner management. And above all, you want to help other people to (re)launch their career !

 

You are/have:

  • +10 years of proven experience in business development (ideally in a recruitment/placement agency or HR sector) or in a similar sales development oriented role , with an extensive B2B network.
  • Great capacity to understand and anticipate companies’ needs and match them with our services.
  • Outstanding negotiation, contract management & public relations skills.
  • A commitment to customer service excellence, with a solution mindset to embrace a fast-paced, changing environment.
  • Superb interpersonal skills, including the ability to quickly build relations with customers, staff, and our learners.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills in Dutch and English and good knowledge of French
  • Structured and organized  
  • At ease with technology and digital tools for a variety of tasks; experience with the Google Suite workspace.
  • Knowledge of the IT/Digital sector is an asset.
  • Experience in the outplacement, talent, recruitment or interim sector is also an asset
